As a Burkean conservative, I'm in favor of sticking with American tradition (pro gun).
Federal law prohibits gun ownership among anyone who is "adjudicated as a mental defective." As a coercive paternalist, I would significantly lower the bar for such adjudication.

Pedophilia refers to the sustained sexual attraction to prepubescent children aged 13 or younger among individuals who are at least 16 years old and at least 5 years older than the child in question. Post-pubescent adults in any alleged relationship do not meet this criteria.
