The face of a man who is going to be paid £7m for 39 days for work😭
No taxi was needed for Ange. He literally & figuratively drove himself out of The City Ground. He did have time to stop on Trent Bridge for a selfie with one of our younger Garibaldi Girls, Georgia. See ya, mate! #NFFC #TrickyTalks #AngePostecoglou #sacked #premierleague

Bro is under contract until 2030. If he wants better wages we extend, if not he goes on loan. Don’t get where this idea that we are under pressure and should be in a panic to cash in came from.

🚨 EXCL: Brighton & Hove Albion make Ā£30m offer to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur. 19yo #THFC talent among Europe’s most coveted players but Croatia defender favours #BHAFC as best step for development mutual trust with Hurzeler @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7347335…

Loan him to Brighton by all means, but selling him before we even understand his ceiling would make signing him in the first place pointless. That would be a new level of incompetence, even for us.

I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen this sentence written from a credible source about my club last 5 years😭
#Tottenham want a central midfielder who can pass from deep. @SkySportsLyall @MichaelBridge_

Judging by the players I’ve seen us linked to so far, we are clearly aiming to raise the technical level of this squad. Not a day too late.

I rate Van Hecke on and off the ball. His one weakness is the same as Senesi’s: neither is especially quick, which is why I’d want them playing together as little as possible. But paired with Danso and VDV, I’d say it’s a pretty a balanced foursome.

Clearest sign of Romero and Dragusin being gone and Vuscovic going out on loan again I’ve seen so far.
🚨 Tottenham Hotspur submit bid to sign Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton & Hove Albion. #THFC offer for 25yo centre-back below #BHAFC valuation so rejected, but talks continue in bid to strike agreement. Dutch int’l close to Roberto De Zerbi @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7331512…

Harry Wilson on a free as a kudus backup would actually be smart businessšŸ‘€

Tottenham looking at winger options with Savinho a top priority. Harry Wilson, Anan Khalaili also considerations in addition #THFC

She wrote that one too!? Man, this lady is on a generational run😭
All these vacancies coming up at top clubs and Thomas Frank not linked to a single one. It’s almost as if this deranged take was complete and utter horseshit. Almost.

Senesi is a good signing the way Danso was. Both have weaknesses but solid players with the right experience, specific attributes and strengths that raise the floor of this squad. Won’t make us but not having the type of quality depth they represent has broken us previously.

Update on Kulusevski:
May 28
Finally some information about why Kulusevski has been out for so long The Swedish national team’s doctor describes his injury, a cartilage injury, as ā€œtricky.ā€ ā€œThey are difficult to treat. Cartilage has no blood supply and no nerves. It doesn’t heal in the usual way.ā€ ā€œIn addition, his injury is located in an area that is under a lot of stress for a football player. The kneecap slides back and forth over the femur. This creates enormous pressure. In this case, it seems that his injury hasn’t healed enough yet for him to handle that kind of strain.ā€ [@sportbladet]

Lange should’ve never been promoted to DoF. He did a good job when his brief was focused on finding young talents like Vuskovic, Gray and Bergvall. Those are his successes. That’s his niche. It’s when his job got bigger things fell apart. We need a proper sporting director.
#Tottenham are now targeting a ā€œworld-classā€ sporting director, changing the initial brief which focused on finding someone to work alongside Johan Lange, fit into a structure and operate as a No 2. What that means for Lange remains unclear. [@JackPittBrooke] šŸ„‡

The single most important thing this club needs to figure out is why these injuries keep happening. You can fire or hire whoever you want and sign the best players around, but if the injuries continue at this rate, it’ll all be for nothing and we’ll end up right back here again.

Judging by these statements from the chairman/owners, we should be expecting a couple of Ā£100m bids to go in for some of the best players itw this summer. Right? We should see a major restructuring of the wage bill. Right?!? Because that would be ā€œaction rather than wordsā€šŸ˜

I love this type honesty and vulnerability from players. Gallagher has been immense under RDZ. The plan devised to keep us up simply doesn’t work without him. He’s a big reason why we didn’t get relegated. He should be treated accordingly from now on.

Yesterday was amazing but no amount of relief will make me forget why we almost got relegated or who is responsible. We all know who they are and what should happen. There can be no real change at this club without real accountability and consequences for those holding us back.
