I never thought I'd be quoted in an NBC article, let alone for a TikTok video, but here I am!
I can't even really believe that something I made after work in my bedroom could have such a big impact.

Most common issues I see in scientific writing:
- Doesn’t explain why the problem is important.
- No clear takeaway message. (How would the reader explain it to a colleague?)
- Sentences too long/complex.
- Doesn’t offer intuition for results.
- Over-stated conclusions.
This is heartbreaking. I hope that this University doesn't use this "offering" a position to a woman as an excuse to hire yet more white males with the phrase "Well we offered the position to diverse candidates, but the offer wasn't accepted. What can we do about that?"
