People ask me if it's depressing to see sick children everyday and that's when I realised how perspective changes everything.
I just love seeing them get better and recover.
Deaths are numbing but there's more to it than that.
I really love when I see them smile.

One of the saddest sights in a pediatric ward-- a 1yr old absorbed in a screen while adults sit silently around them. The issue isn't the phone it's that toys, play, and interaction are being replaced by screens during the years they matter most for the brain development.
