One thing creatives should know about Adobe: it’s guided by one of the strongest moral compasses in big tech. The company operates with a high degree of ethics, something that isn’t always understood externally.

Ever wondered why apps like @linear, @arcinternet, @airtable, and @frame_io feel like gliding on ice, while others feel like trudging through mud? It’s not subjective nor based on taste, it’s all about precise, measurable front-end rendering techniques I call ‘FluidUI.’ The challenge lies in training your brain to notice these details, and then learning the FE techniques to achieve them. If you can pull if off, you’ll stand out in the top 1% of the industry 🧵

The power of fundamentals is that they give you the choice to indulge in an unbelievably wide range of problems. Work and life become exponentially more interesting and consequential.

Yep!
It took me years to really learn this: if someone talks to you in technical terms such that you can't follow or understand, it's almost definitely not your fault. It's theirs. They're either incapable of explaining the concepts, don't care if you understand or are afraid of something.

Apple needs to put Face ID in MacBooks and offer API’s to 3rd party auth services. Would love to never login to anything again.

That’s it. This week proved to me that ChatGPT can and _will_ write code for me. With small to medium manual tweaks at most.

Most interesting thing I heard in a while about ChatGPT and AI: The inevitable Developer productivity increase won’t lead to fewer jobs, it’ll lead to us building more things.

The borage of political hate has made Twitter unusable. No matter who I follow or what I look for, it desperately tries to get me to engage with rage based content.
