Isn’t a mid-term break supposed to happen once in a term? As in, mid-term? I’m trying to understand how these kids have had three mid-term breaks in just two months. Back then, you got one mid-term break and that was it. These days, it feels like school is just something they do in between holidays.

Day 20. Open Letter to President Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump @WhiteHouse @POTUS @elonmusk @SenTedCruz @marcorubio @JDVance @netanyahu Subject: Supporting a Free, Fair, and Credible Election in Nigeria, 2027 Dear President Trump, I write as a concerned Nigerian citizen and observer of Nigeria’s democratic journey. The 2027 general elections will be a defining moment for Africa’s largest democracy and for the stability of the West African region. Nigeria’s 230 million people face real challenges: insecurity, economic hardship, and declining public trust in institutions. What can restore that trust is the visible conduct of elections that are transparent, free from interference, and credible in the eyes of Nigerians and the international community. Your administration’s influence on global democratic norms is significant. I respectfully urge you to use that leverage in three ways ahead of the 2027 elections: 1. Support Independent Electoral Institutions: Encourage consistent funding, operational independence, and security for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) so it can administer the process without undue pressure. 2. Back International Observation and Technology Transparency: Support the deployment of credible international observers and push for full transparency around the use of election technology, including voter accreditation and results transmission systems. Transparency reduces suspicion and disputes. 3. Hold All Actors Accountable: Make clear that the U.S. will not tolerate election violence, voter intimidation, or manipulation by any party, candidate, or state actor. Consistent messaging from Washington carries weight across the political spectrum in Nigeria. Nigeria’s stability matters beyond its borders. A credible election strengthens regional security, trade, and U.S. interests in counterterrorism and economic partnership. I ask that you consider making public and private engagement on electoral integrity a priority in U.S.-Nigeria relations over the next two years. The Nigerian people deserve the chance to choose their leaders without fear, coercion, or doubt about the process. Thank you for your consideration. Respectfully, Emmanuel Chukwuka A Concerned Nigerian Citizen

“In my lifetime in Nigeria, I have never seen a Nigerian politician come out and say that, as a former governor, he left money behind, built over 800 kilometers of roads, elevated his state’s education from last to top, and since leaving office has not taken a pension or any benefits attached to being a former governor. Or that the reason he was impeached was because he refused to pad a budget that was supposed to be used for renovations. Something they wanted to do for billions of naira, he did for less than ₦400 million. To top it off, neither the ruling party that has a record of intimidating and blackmailing their opponents with their looting/corruption records, nor the EFCC, one of the most biased & corrupt institutions in Nigeria, has found anything significant to use against him. I have never seen such a leader in Nigerian history.” His name is Peter Obi‼️

Monetization is like Lagos danfo 🚌 It stops and starts when it wants, sometimes leaves you standing in the sun. But if you stay consistent and keep entering the “bus” (posting), you’ll eventually reach your destination. Patience persistence = payout!!!

Most people don’t actually want a simple life. They want an incredibly comfortable, high-status life without doing the hard work required to maintain it. Agree or disagree? 👇

Life is not a movie. Good people don’t always win, and bad people don’t always lose. Some people with questionable pasts end up with loving spouses. Some kind-hearted people face heartbreak and disappointment. Some wicked people live long , while some decent people are gone too soon. Live a decent life anyway, not because you’re guaranteed a reward, but because your character is worth more than any outcome.
