Our paper (eprint.iacr.org/2022/1632.pd…) studies weighted cryptosystems where parties are assigned a weight, and the trust assumption is that a certain fraction of the total weight is honest. Standard virtualization gives multiplicative overhead in the weights, but ours is additive!
We show how incremental timed-release encryption can be used for sealed-bid auctions or scheduled transactions. Check out our paper eprint.iacr.org/2021/800.pdf to appear at @acm_ccs
