What can you see in front of a loading shovel bucket? Nothing for at least 11m! Commonly used in waste and recycling, restricted forward visibility is a major problem due to their size & the use of large capacity buckets. What can you do to aid the driver? hubs.la/Q02xXgpx0

ZARA stands for Zone Aware, Risk Alert. It's an exclusion zone light that combines with our proximity warning system to give visual awareness of the zone of the vehicle they’re installed on. When a pedestrian enters the exclusion zone wearing their SiteZone tag, the light flashes

Our data shows that FLTs have nearly double the number of detections per runtime hour than the industry average; 11.76 detections per runtime hour.   That’s a person in the exclusion zone every 5 minutes of operation.   hubs.la/Q04kd-G00 #NFSD2026 #UKMHA #ForkliftSafety

Did you know we first started working with intelligent cameras back in 2012? We've learnt over the years what works, what customers need, and where the real safety gaps are. Hear from our MD @gary escott on how that learning led to AVA.

Despite well-established guidance and industry awareness, why do plant pedestrian incidents still happen? We explored this at our recent webinar. Read on to see how busyness, human behaviour, and temporary site layout changes all impact a site's safety: hubs.la/Q04j9wk-0

Meet AVA (Alert and Visual Awareness) AVA combines human form recognition (HFR) cameras with our proven proximity warning systems to give complete detection, safety redundancy, & simplified data review. But why did we do this? Watch the video to find out 👇hubs.la/Q04j8wN10

Who are AVA and ZARA? Two new upgrades that combine with SiteZone’s existing Proximity Warning Systems to deliver best in class Detection, Awareness, and Analysis. Find out more 👉hubs.la/Q04h4Yhh0

The SiteZone Dashboard just got a major update. It’s all about simplicity. Helping you see your data clearly & use it effectively. We've also added an industry benchmark - see where you sit compared to the rest of the industry. Find out what's new: hubs.la/Q04d-Lkf0

What's one of the biggest plant pedestrian risks on a forward tipping dumper? Visibility in front of the bucket, when carrying a load or in the tipping position. We configure our system differently for these machines, giving a larger detection zone at the front than at the back.

A customer recently told us ‘busyness’ is one of their biggest risk factors. So, it’s no surprise that this year’s @ilo World Day for Safety and Health at Work is focused on psychosocial factors such as workload and working time. Read the full story here: hubs.ly/Q04dkz9k0

What does the HSE look for in prosecutions? As part of a recent webinar, we analysed prosecutions made by HSE (Health and Safety Executive) to see what they expect, and why the prosecution was made. Find out here: hubs.la/Q04cj9zl0

Inspections on a landfill compactor to ensure SiteZone proximity warning system performs exactly as it should. Landfills are tough environments — dust, vibration, constant movement, & HUGE seagulls all put safety systems to the test. Regular checks are a key part of compliance

Crossing points are often installed at weighbridges & in front of buildings where visibility is poor due to blind corners. So why not integrate proximity warning with your site infrastructure & control access & crossing points with the tags you already use hubs.la/Q048zDLj0
You don't often get all machines lined up in a row ready for our engineer to install SiteZone Proximity Warning Systems👌
Some behind the scenes shots from filming last week. We're bringing AVA, ZARA and SiteZone proximity warning together for the best in class detection and simplified analysis. Officially launching next month….(although we've been busy installing this new system already this year)

This machine almost blends into the sky ☀️ They benefit from the SmartBubble Deadman Handle system that will automatically reduce the size of the proximity detection zone when the deadman handle is engaged, so they only get alerts when they're needed. hubs.la/Q048BJqN0

Just a week to go to secure your spot at our live session on 17 March. Managing the Plant Pedestrian Interface risk in Waste & Recycling is complex, high-risk, and never ‘finished’. See how to go from good to excellent, and what the future may hold. hubs.la/Q045K9l00

Is the sunshine and blue skies putting a spring in anyone else's step this week? On site for 6-monthly inspections plus a data upgrade for one of our key customers.

What foreseeable and preventable risks do the HSE frequently highlight when they prosecute for plant pedestrian incidents? This is just one of the areas we'll be covering in our live session on 17 March. Reserve your free place here: hubs.la/Q045HL3x0

Want to know what 'Good' really looks like in plant pedestrian safety? Join our webinar on 17 March. We'll unpick what the HSE looks for, how to go from risk assessment to the real world, plus a glimpse into the future (and why it’s never ‘done’!) hubs.la/Q0448ThP0
