By the way, if Brock Glenn starts (and don't read anything into that -- I have no inside info on this) and FSU were to somehow win, it would make it virtually impossible to argue that FSU is not playoff-worthy. Clearly this would be a complete team, not reliant on one player.

This is so simplistic and a straw man. The frustration with sports isn't players getting paid, it's the lawlessness and corruption. The incestuousness between networks and leagues and the lack of controls over the NIL process is gross.
College sports are more popular than ever.
Especially women’s sports.
And in part, it’s because of the changes to college athletics over the past 5 years.
Don’t listen to the alarmist narratives being spun in order to place restrictions back on athletes.
