This is what I mean when I say despite how amazing of a game & phenomenon BotW was & how much I love the game to death it has lowk been a net negative for the franchise & Nintendo as a whole because the Nintendo higher ups & Aonuma took all of the wrong lessons from its success.
Legend of Zelda feels like it's hit a brick wall. It used to be that there was an original Zelda game around the corner on every Nintendo system. It feels like ever since Breath of the Wild the Zelda series has been sleeping on original ideas.
