I thought the acting was great. Emily Blunt and Colin Firth were both superb, and Colman Domingo was excellent too. Everyone felt locked in, and the performances carried a lot of the tension. The cinematography looked fantastic on the IMAX screen. The color grading felt right for the story, and the way it was shot gave everything a sharp, grounded look. The music was the one thing that didn’t land for me. John Williams has a few moments where you can feel his touch, but most of the score sounded too generic. It could have been done by anyone. The sound mix itself was decent, but nothing that really stood out in a big way, but you can really feel the tension. The movie jumps in right away and keeps moving along at a good pace. It doesn’t slow down until the very end. Spielberg leaves a lot up to you, which is something he does often, and I think it works here. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I think it's Steven Spielberg's best movie in quite some time. It’s a very interesting movie, and I recommend seeing it in IMAX.
