Bryce handled this really openly and honestly as well. He told Zach and Trinity before even pulling Kayda. Then he told Kayda that Trinity was still his #1, took the rejection to the chin, apologized to Trin and then talked it out. Wasn’t being sneaky or dishonest.

i’ll say that as someone who preferred obsession to the backrooms, something that obsession excels at that i expected more of in the backrooms movie is eeriness. obsession genuinely made me feel uncomfortable and creeped out whereas backrooms just felt jumpscare heavy
