Today the entire Quirkies family sits in shock
Dave was a not only pivotal part of the Quirkies ecosystem, he was a rock for many in the space & a friend who supported many projects & people

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Dave. He was not only a rock for so many people but also a brother to me. Dave's kindness, strength, and unwavering support touched countless lives, and his absence will be felt by all who knew him. We are so incredibly grateful for the time we had with him, and we will cherish the memories of his friendship forever.
Dave’s dedication to the work we did together was unmatched, and as he would have wanted, the project will continue. While it may look different due to the challenges ahead, I am committed to completing the goal we shared to the best of my ability, in honor of his vision.
Please know that I will update everyone soon. I need some time to process and figure out the next steps, as well as work on creating a new roadmap moving forward. I appreciate your patience during this time.
At this moment, we ask that you please allow the family the time they need to process and grieve. They are in our thoughts, and we hope for peace and comfort for them in the days ahead.
Dave will be missed more than words can express, but his legacy and impact will live on in all of us.

Just finished the last of 9 follow up meeting from Consensus.
I can say one thing. NFTs although quiet are not dead and will absolutely have a resurgence.
There is a plethora of people/vcs/advisors/partners who are looking for the right teams and communities to partner with.

3 years on. All those other projects have rugged and I’m here listening to founders like @farokh so we can continue building Quirks.

Alright, today I decided to join a new community and did a little sweep of @quirkiesnft.
My real first interaction with the community was a while ago when a community member told me to join. When I asked if they were still active, I was literally spammed like never before.
After that, I had a call with @OneAndOnlyPapii, and it was really nice. I genuinely felt like I was speaking to someone who understood the essence of how a project should be led, while still staying connected to the degen side of the market.
Also, something important to mention is that their community doesn’t have a major catalyst going on right now, but it has been around since the beginning. It withstood the bear market and still has a floor price of 0.8 ETH. During times of chaos, they stood strong, and to me, that’s a community and a leader I want to bet on.
So yeah I'm extremely excited to join that journey with them, and I'm sure it will be a long one 👊
