It's possible to like, admire and feel sympathy for Caster Semenya, Francine Niyonsaba and all other DSD athletes while feeling the same for non-DSD athletes who were, under previous rules, in a race they could never win. Social media just makes you think it's not.

This issue so complex. It’s nothing to do with racism, feminism or about the genetic advantage of a single person. The effects of elevated testosterone on performance can’t be ignored. I truly believe this is in the interests of protecting female athletes’ rights and competition.
