Every year when I get my girls ready for their dance recital I thank god that my full time job is soccer mom and not dance mom (ballet bun and makeup not my thing)

I've found this to be true in the childcare industry. You get a bad apple every once in awhile, but generally people who work with young children are better people on average.
I talked to a founder today whose customers are all really nice people, because their initial market happens to be one that attracts such people. The founders themselves are nice for the same reason. They're enjoying starting a startup as much as any founders I've known.

There are enough hours in the day, there's just not enough hours in the day before camp pickup.

My kids are 3 of my best friends and I would rather spend time with them than most other people. Maybe it sounds scary if you don’t have kids you like.
If you speak with friends in South Bay, having kids sounds scary, they drive all the time for activities, and have no life of their own If you speak with friends in SF (Noe Valley), it sounds less scary, all activities are a block away and they go on retreats with their husbands and have fun for fun It seems people choose their own pain and the answer is live in SF

Only downside to my best friends is 2 of them have trouble staying up late which makes it hard to attend late night events with them. But honestly I have trouble staying up late too these days.

Going to concerts with various kids of yours when your husband is laid up after major knee surgery is one of the main benefits of having kids. Last night was @GymClassHeroes ❤️

Bought my kids fast passes to skip the lines at the county fair and they don’t want to use them because they don’t think it’s fair 😂😂

Everyone is hating on VCs for falling asleep during meetings like no one understands how exhausting it can be cheering for everyone from the sidelines.

Everyone is sharing their worst experience pitching to VCs. So there was one VC I pitched who later had articles written about how he made sexual advances on every female founder who pitched him. Anyway, he did not make any sexual advances on me. I still think about that.

BRYAN AM I GOING TO DIE
Men, take a break from whatever you're doing and see how many pushups you can do. How many did you do? It's a predictor of your heart disease risk. . 20 reps is linked to a 75% lower risk . less than 10, you gotta get off dat ass Data from 10 yr study of 1,104 men aged 21 to 66. Pushups outperformed submaximal VO2max at predicting events, likely because pushups capture muscular strength and power on top of fitness, two of the strongest protective biomarkers known. Limitations: the cohort was middle-aged male firefighters, so do not extend to women, older adults, or sedentary populations. The under 10 group was also older, heavier, and smoked more, so some signal is residual confounding by overall metabolic health.
