Hon. Andrew Ojok Oulanyah, MP for Omoro County, has called for stronger Government action against mob justice following the killing of Rugby Cranes and Black Pirates player Sydney Gongodyo.
Ojok says Gongodyo’s death should not be treated as an isolated incident, citing police crime reports on mob-related killings in recent years.
He wants Government and Police to present a clear strategy on response time, prevention and prosecution of mob justice cases.

Hon. Asinansi Nyakato, Hoima City Woman MP, says some parts of Hoima District have been hit by heavy hailstorms, destroying farms, livestock and houses.
Nyakato has asked the Office of the Prime Minister and disaster preparedness authorities to intervene with relief support, including shelter for affected communities.
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has asked the MP to formally submit the affected areas, saying Government will send a team to assess the damage and provide support.
