The replies to Ben's tweet make him look like he might now be 'infamous'....

According to the jobs data reported yesterday, Canada added 25,000 construction jobs in May. Call me skeptical that number doesnt get wacked back down.
Some Toronto condos are now selling for less than they did in 2017. Nearly a decade of gains wiped out. The biggest pain? Small 500–600 sq. ft. investor-style units that were once considered can't-miss investments. Turns out location isn't everything. Layout, size and demand matter too.

The collapse of Canada is a topic I'm always willing to discuss, because I think more awareness needs to be raised. Me and @smallcapsteve from @TheDeepDive_ca recently had an in-depth conversation on the issues and potential solutions. youtu.be/j1DfoUVBpfQ

If 20 years ago you told me: a) The CFL will be less popular than it is today b) The CFL will sign a $500M/6y tv deal I'd say you were crazy. Lots of people complaining about this. What's left of linear TV will essentially be dead in 10 years. Take the money...
Hearing the #CFL new six-year broadcast agreement, everything combined, is worth about $500 million. That's very very significant. Not only does the deal continue the league's longstanding partnership with Bell Media but adds DAZN and YouTube as partners. Solid deal all around.

This is so Canada. The RCMP and the CBC (and the Courts) all getting paid by taxpayers in a legal drama.
The RCMP told Juno News in an exclusive statement that it has engaged its legal team after a CBC sting lured veterans of the force under false pretenses and humiliated them on stage. junonews.com/p/exclusive-rcm…

A sign of all the bots on Twitter. My for you feed has broken bots, that have a backend saying RT instead of actually retweeting with some tweets with thousands of retweets and no views. I thought Elon wanted to fix this?

They know their audience, it's 'elbows up' boomers. Cognitive dissonance be damned.
Have you ever seen this show called “The Social” It looks like Canada’s version of “The View” Here they are going full elbows up & already pushing Canadians to boycott Dunkin Donuts.

On one hand, you have India approving multibillion-dollar coal gasification schemes this week, and on the other, Prime Minister Mark Carney is doubling down on methane regulations to make Canadian energy "competitive."
Canada is an energy superpower and we’re going to lead the world in sustainable energy. That’s why we introduced new measures to cut methane emissions – to drive innovation, bring down pollution, and make Canada more competitive in global energy markets.

I can see why she turned replies off on this tweet.
Facts: 1. TMX is a government asset whose costs are covered by tolls from O&G producers. It is profitable. 2. Oilsands are not the most expensive barrel anymore, because it’s not 2015. They are generally among the lowest break-even barrels in North America. 3. Oilsands are not the most carbon intensive barrels. They are only 1-3% higher emitting than the average US refinery barrel, and are lower emitting than heavy oil competitors Iraq, California and Venezuela. Sources in thread /1

Napolean Dynamite is old!
Liberal MP Karim Bardeesy after hearing Vassy’s give factual evidence regarding the failing EV market doubles down on them & starts gaslighting viewers claiming Canadians have an appetite for EV’s. These people won’t give up until all automakers are gone and only China is producing cars in Canada. You can watch him actually get more purple the longer he keeps talking.

I wonder what Canada's 'Healthiest Banking System in the World' status will look like if mortgages hit 10%.
UK 30-year gilt yields reach their highest level since 1998, signaling increased borrowing costs for the government and reflecting broader concerns about fiscal sustainability.

Pretty aggressive statements from Kuya Silver on their investor presentation. Didn't know you could put FCF targets on an exploration property.
