Update from being laid off
I have accepted a job
The role is great
LinkedIn is a cesspit and the recruiter dance makes me sick
My ancestors are laughing at some of the thinks I said in my interview, itās all a big performance
I had a lovely 2 months off, got a bumper severance, worked out everyday, and a nice payrise at my new place
Some things are meant to be
1 month today since I was laid off, why does anyone have a job?
Iāve done 5 teams interviews in my best shirt and pants
2 face to face interviews
CT has clearly made me quite antisocial
Iāve worked out every day this week and my body hurts a lot, my protein farts are awful lmao
My fiancƩ bought a pack of expensive eggs and they were all double yolk

Senator John Kennedy locked in the last Republican vote this morning. The bill cleared committee on a party-line 13-11. Now it heads to the full Senate floor.
The last crypto bill to clear this exact process was the GENIUS Act in July 2025. Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $123,000 within weeks.
