𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝗚: 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 Go and read something you wrote 6 months ago. Be honest. Did you smile... or did you almost delete it immediately? 😂 That feeling is a good sign. It means your eyes have improved. It means your standards have changed. It means you're no longer the same writer. ☛ 𝔾𝕣𝕠𝕨𝕥𝕙 is not always getting more likes. Sometimes it's reading your old work and realizing you've come a long way. 𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 I did not “𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼” in some fancy way. I was just a girl who moved from her village to a new place to study, no steady light, just survival mode. I used to go out just to charge my Itel phone and to me, that was normal. One of those days, I met a group of guys always glued to their phones. I asked what they were doing. They said “𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.” I had no clue what that meant. That one question opened a door I did not know I was walking through. I went home with my phone full of apps. satoshi, pi, notcoin, ice, all of it and some telegram mini-apps. I was tapping, learning, guessing and just trying to understand the dramas curiosity led me to. Then reality hit me early. I got cheated on my first airdrop claim which was $ICE now $ION. I watched my effort turn into confusion and a small payout that did not match what I was told I had. Still, I did not leave. I stayed because curiosity had already taken root. Later, $Notcoin changed everything for me, then $Dogs made me smile. For the first time, I actually made money from my phone and paid school fees from it. That moment made it real. Like, I finally believed in Crypto. Along the line, I got an opportunity to join a class with @womenindefi_org. After the training, I had more ideas on DeFi, airdrops, trading and more. I saw people writing threads, winning contests, explaining crypto in ways that made sense. I tried too. I failed a lot. I was scattered, unsure and invisible in most rooms I entered. But I stayed anyway. I learned from spaces, from communities, and also from people who were already ahead. I didn't give up so the reward for consistency finally came. My writing gave me a reasonable figure in dollars from a project I contributed to out of its fun movement where everyone gets to wear sunglasses captioned "𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀" ( $SIGN ) but somehow I left that particular X account, restarted, and rebuilt another. 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐲, 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧. Today, I simplify what once confused me. I write about the same world that once felt too big for me to understand. From charging my phone outside just to survive the day, to writing in crypto full time, it still feels unreal. But this is it. And I am not done yet. What caught my attention is how sports and onchain markets keep getting closer A few years ago, most people would never imagine supporting a team or predicting player performance could be tied to actual rewards like this. The funniest thing is that some people will spend hours arguing about football results for free, at least here, being right can actually come with a reward.
