People want to treat retail pharmacy employees like the bottom feeders of healthcare but once they announce they’re closing for 30 minutes a day for lunch we’re “too vital to close”

I’m going to find out where these people work and go stare at them and sigh loudly and often when they’re on their lunch break

It was 60 degrees when I left to go to work and now our cars are covered in snow 🙃

If one more person gets nasty with us over taking a 30 minute lunch break out of a 13 hour day so help me…

Tuesday is going to feel like shorts weather

So grateful that my scheduled Saturday-Sunday-Monday off is the weekend of this snowstorm 😮‍💨

Managed to get 12 days off of work starting Saturday and only use 40 hours of PTO…and avoid the worst time of year in the pharmacy 😁

To the man who came in and announced to everyone in the pharmacy “on behalf of all of us on this side of the counter thank you for all you do and I’m sorry for those who aren’t nice to you” I hope you win the lottery

After almost 6 years we still haven’t learned to put on a mask if you’re coming indoors to pick up your meds for Covid

With Hockey Fights Cancer Night tomorrow, I wanted to post a moment our broadcast family shared, a moment honoring two extraordinary people. Earlier this year, Willy lost his incredible wife, Erin, after a brave and inspiring battle with cancer. Erin lived with a radiant brightness, pouring Light, Love, and Positivity into everyone she met. She truly was an angel among us. We miss her every day, and her spirit continues to shine through all who knew her. To honor her legacy, we presented Willy with “The Big E Belt of Light, Love, & Positivity.” I called her “The Big E” because her energy, her heart, and her love for others were simply bigger than any name could hold. Working my first completely solo pharmacist shift at my new pharmacy that does as many Rxs on the weekends as my rite aid used to do on a Monday 😬😬

When you have to sit on a footstool behind the shelves so you don’t get stared at during your lunch break 🙃

This is 40…I somehow pulled a muscle in my neck while I slept and now I can’t turn my head all the way to the side

Going from a pharmacy that averaged 250 Rxs a day to one that does 700-800 a day has been quite the experience

So are we getting raptured today or not? I need to know whether or not to keep my plans for tonight

The way people circle the pharmacy like sharks when we’re closed for lunch

Looked out the drive thru window and a guy was there holding an alligator 😳 Never a dull day in the pharmacy

Of course I come back from my first cruise with some upper respiratory junk…and I start my new job tomorrow

The way some people are so tone deaf it’s crazy. Lady comes in bitching to employees about to lose their jobs that we don’t have a rewards program anymore (it ended 2 months ago and there’s been signage up for almost 3 months)

Friday night at almost 7pm and our pharmacy closes permanently on Sunday…now you want your medicine that is 2 months late and out of refills.

The number of people that still don’t know that all the Rite Aids are closing is wild
