So pleased to share my newest pictorial on "Building Trust" created with the wonderful Julie Smee @smeeathonrunner
Trust is built on care, sincerity, competence and reliability. It takes time to build, but needs nurturing as it can easily break due to our actions.
My mission for Newson Health is to collaborate and share research and knowledge with healthcare professionals so that together we can help more women receive the menopause care they deserve.
With this in mind, I’m delighted to say we’re going to host our next conference in May for free!
We’ll be discussing a variety of important topics such as mental health, hormones, breast cancer and menopause, and we’ll also be hosting a live Q&A.
If you’re a clinician and you want to join us, you can reserve your ticket here: nhmenopausesociety.seeticket…
There’s also an opportunity to purchase tickets to a drinks reception and 3 course dinner, where the fabulous Kare Muir will host a talk about the menopause revolution - it should be a really great evening and I’d love to see some of you there!
5 years ago today I ran my very own marathon.. the Smeeathon, to celebrate 5 years cancer free. Every step I ran was with friends, family and the amazing @thismumruns community. Reflecting on all the special memories made that day.

It’s nearly 10 years since I had my breast cancer diagnosis. I met Ann, my hubbies school friend, soon after when she was diagnosed just weeks after me. We are friends now & we LOVE to run. Today we went for a 10 miler. Through darkness comes good stuff- a friendship for life!

We’ve had great sharing & discussions of what #adoption&spread means, plus positive examples of when this has been done well. A big last question- what else do we need to adopt & spread in healthcare/NHS? 🤔 Would love to hear your ideas!
