Why I don’t go much on polymer urea’s in grain maize. First pic is SAP test 24/06 and N’s have been decreasing since we started weekly tests. Second pic is 8 days later and N only reduced. Prior to second test we did apply 5 kg/ha bittersaltz and 1 l/ha manganese.

Next week I’ll monitor for any further change as well as test BlueN plots and Nitroflo30 plot.

Trialling some late season Nitroflo30 in the rain on our grain maize with the @AgrifacUK Condor 5 High Clearance Mountain Master and had to get a video to illustrate the clearance this machine has.

Not the best June day, but really good get together for leading UK grass seed growers and advisers. Justin Bidwell reporting on our extensive trials programme from Hants and Dorset sites. As ever, interesting and relevant to all levy paying seed producers. Much more to come.

About 30 bin bags thrown/fly tipped into a stream on land we rent, contents being the clear out from a cannabis farm. Not the first time this has happened leaving us to tidy up.
