Like 6 years ago or so, I was on a bus at college, and I saw someone watching @NexpoYT on their phone. I asked them if they've ever watched ScareTheater, and they looked at me and said, "Who?"

I found ~430 BTC across dozens of wallets associated with Ross Ulbricht that were not confiscated by the USGovt and have been untouched for 13 years
Back then these were probably dust wallets, now, collectively, they are worth about $47M.

Idk, I’m in the middle. He’s not an angel, or even an anti-hero. I could see 20 years, he’s unlikely to reoffend, the sting operation itelf was designed to paint him into corner and bait a response.
If he had been given 20-25 no one would be sympathetic.

For those asking why Ross Ulbrict being pardoned is a good thing when he "ordered hits" on people, read this thread. TLDR to the best of my knowledge there's no proof either way that Ross was using the DPR account when the hit messages were sent. Up to you if you believe that

Since people are still confused.
Ross ordered hits on 6 total people got scammed every time.
5 - elaborate scam.
1 - employee by undercover fed.
Two seperate storylines.
Ross was charged in Maryland.
Those were for the 1 hit with undercover and were later dropped.

Ross got double life initially from NY case for the Silk Road operation.
Not from hits, never pursued because it was a scam and details were murky.
Didn’t find out until years later who the scammer was (James Ellingson )

Ross allegedly offered Chris Tarbell a large sum of money after his arrest and data from the Silk Road case showed that he switched computers in April 2012.
Keep an eye out for any bitcoin from that era moving. 👀

To date we have no idea what happened to Ross main computer that he was running Silk Road from 2010-2012
The laptop that was found was included in his accounting logs. And all data had an imaged date of like late April early May.
When files were transferred.
