One of the best initiatives by the Government of India was supporting startups through programs like the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme.
The idea is simple: help founders build before asking them to scale.
But here's the problem.
Many incubators look great on paper and in presentations. In reality, some are inactive, slow, unresponsive, or buried in bureaucracy.
Founders spend weeks applying, pitching, and filling forms only to hear nothing back.
And in some cases, startups are encouraged to apply with the impression that support is available, but the actual process leads nowhere.
My request is simple:
If an incubator is genuinely helping founders, keep going.
If it exists only for reports, events, and LinkedIn posts, shut the drama down.
Indian founders don't need more banners, speeches, and brochures.
They need mentors who reply, programs that work, and funding that actually reaches deserving startups.
Startup India was built to create builders, not paperwork.

Petrol now contains around 20% ethanol, which is much cheaper than petrol itself.
So here's a simple question:
If blending fuel has become cheaper, why are consumers still paying ₹100 per litre?
Citizens deserve a transparent breakdown of fuel pricing. Asking where our money goes isn't anti-government, it's common sense.
Lower costs should mean lower prices, not bigger loopholes.

The new generation of entrepreneurship seems obsessed with one thing: money.
Yes, startups need revenue. Yes, profit matters.
But expecting big profits from an early-stage startup is like digging a hole in the Sahara and expecting to find water on day one.
The first stage isn't about getting rich. It's about surviving, learning, building, failing, improving, and earning trust.
Too many people want startup results with employee-level effort.
A startup isn't a shortcut to money. It's a commitment to years of uncertainty, setbacks, and relentless execution.
Money follows value. Value follows work.
So stop asking, "How fast can I make money?"
Start asking, "How long am I willing to grind?"

Not every college hackathon, but if you've been in the ecosystem long enough, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Sometimes the prize money never reaches the winners.
Sometimes it gets delayed for months.
Sometimes the amount magically changes.
Sometimes you're told, "We'll send it later."
Students spend sleepless nights building, pitching, and competing, only to end up chasing organizers for what was promised.
A hackathon should be about innovation, not a lesson in broken promises.
If you advertise a prize pool, honor it.
If funding isn't secured, don't market it.
Transparency isn't optional. It's the bare minimum.
And before anyone gets offended: I said SOME hackathons, not ALL. If the shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it.

When I tag officials or raise concerns, it's often because it feels like the only way left to get attention on an issue that affects people. Asking questions is not an act of rebellion; it's a responsibility of every citizen in a democracy.

But if my words offend you, take a moment to ask yourself why. If you genuinely think I'm wrong, my DMs are open and I'm happy to listen. If not, feel free to scroll past.
Let's spend less time arguing over who asked the question and more time discussing whether the question deserves an answer.

103 km. Standing the entire way. Full ticket paid.
I'm a teenager, not a free passenger. Yet after paying the same fare as everyone else, I'm expected to stand for hours because the system has no consideration for students and young commuters.
Supporting women's safety and mobility is important. Nobody is questioning that.
But when one group gets benefits while another group pays full price and travels standing for 100 km, people have the right to ask questions about fairness.
Why is there no travel support for students under 18? Why are teenagers who travel for education and opportunities ignored?
Real equity means looking at everyone, not just one section of society.
@SuvenduWB Sir, please address this imbalance. Either provide concessions for students and teenagers or create policies that ensure public transport remains fair for all passengers.
Paying full fare shouldn't mean standing for 103 km.

As a student, I will ask every question that deserves to be asked. Questioning a policy is not disrespect; it is part of democracy. I believe @SuvenduWB would also agree that students have every right to raise genuine concerns and seek fair solutions.

I have a request: could the state consider partnering with platforms like Coursera or Udemy to provide free or discounted access for students?
While India already has platforms such as SWAYAM, many students still prefer industry-focused courses that offer practical skills, hands-on projects, and globally recognized certificates. Access to quality online learning can help students from all backgrounds gain job-ready skills in AI, programming, cloud computing, cybersecurity, design, and more.
Investing in affordable access to world-class education could create more opportunities for the next generation of West Bengal's learners and innovators.

Why is free bus travel in West Bengal only for girls? Students under 18 who travel long distances for studies should also get support. I travel almost 200 km regularly on SBSTC. Affordable transport should help every struggling student, not just based on gender.
