It’s been a long time in the works but we finally did it. The first Fundación VG clinic is due to open its doors in St Louis, Senegal in early October. The brainchild of Victor and a few childhood friends, the clinic is for at-risk youth who don’t necessarily have access to the same medical services as others. Informally, the foundation has been working in this area since 2023 but in less than two months, we will have our very own bricks and mortar building to be able to help thousands per year. (Faces omitted to protect privacy, obviously)

Not often I get truly sad about a closure. Bibendum was the restaurant I took my team to when I wanted to say “Look at this. This is what we should aspire to.”
Perfect food, perfect service, lovely dining room. Been there about 7 times & I’m so angry I won’t get to go again

Guy worked for us for 2.5 years and wanted to get more into wine. We paid for his level 1, 2, and 3 WSETs in advance. He ended up leaving for greener pastures but we were happy to have helped him on his journey. Imagine my smile when I woke up to this message this morning. 🤟🏼😍

I can agree - some of the best food I’ve ever tasted, Victor’s was a superb night. Should I be saying this, though, if we want to get a space for the next one? 🤔
And here he is saucing Mike’s plate! We haven’t seen this before.

Lunch @ Le Grand Restaurant Jean François Piege- magical. Maybe the best sweetbreads I’ve ever had. Light, pure, and intense is incredibly difficult to pull off simultaneously (I’ve been trying w varying degrees of success for 20 years) & every single dish here did it beautifully

Gonna be 100% honest- the days are just melting together at the moment and I didn’t realise it was an April fools.
