Soleda's success is based on three contrarian views: 1) Scaling LLMs and clever model architectures are important for building useful AI, but labeled conversational data is *equally* important. Moreover, this data will be generated synthetically, rather than annotated manually.

3) AI agents that automatically complete entire tasks are suboptimal. Put another way, the ideal amount of user feedback during a complex task is surprisingly non-zero. Asking the user for clarification is not only functionally required, but actually emotionally preferred.
