"Disciplina dói no começo, o arrependimento dói todo dia."

ALT Fire Writing GIF

Disciplina dói no começo, o arrependimento dói todo dia.

Your biggest enemy is the version of you that wants to look good today. It makes you talk too much, react too fast, and choose comfort over advantage. Think in seasons, not moments. Short wins can cost long position, and long position buys freedom from moods.

Detachment is leverage in a neurotic world. Treat allies and enemies the same, don’t lash out, and don’t justify yourself to rude people. Stay incentive driven and consistent. When they can’t trigger you, they can’t steer you.

Smart people don't wanna tell anyone what's going on in their career or personal life, ever.

a mentor once told me that the person who figures out how to enjoy the process will always beat the person who’s just tolerating it. same hours, different energy, completely different results. find a way to love the grind or find a different grind.

probably one of the softest, most tender ways to love someone is simple curiosity to love someone is to watch the movie they keep talking about just to understand why matt damon matters to them to love someone is to eat garlic bialy with oj in the morning just to understand why they never get tired of it to love someone is to sit with their favourite songs and understand why there’s shrek on their playlist love is wanting to understand the small things and see the world through their eyes
there’s an innate pleasure in showing something you love to someone else a movie you’ve watched a hundred times and they haven’t a place you’ve traveled by heart but is new to them a dish you’ve tasted before and they’re discovering for the first time it’s the only way familiar things feel new again not by erasing your memory but by instead seeing it through the eyes of someone you care about
