Opus 4.7 just refactored my entire codebase in one call. 25 tool invocations. 3,000 new lines. 12 brand new files. It modularized everything. Broke up monoliths. Cleaned up spaghetti. None of it worked. But boy was it beautiful. And in 2 months it will be as stupid as opus4.6

I don’t get it, why people are still using Claude Code. This is pure scam. Been trying to solve some deep complex issue with a code generator tool, spent like half a day and ~30$ in Opus 4.6 API credits. No results. My Codex 5.3 included in a 20 bucks sub solved this in one shot

If you wanna create a touching gay story - you do it like Ep.3 from The Last Of Us S1 - one of the best TV episodes ever created. Stranger Things S5 Ep.7 Will’s coming out is absolute useless trash and cringe, it’s so unnatural and not needed for the show, just 🤢🤮

LinkedIn scammers leveled up: instead of stuffing obfuscated JS in a config, they hide a base64 URL split across several .env vars. A router stitches/decodes it, fetches, and pipes the response into new Function - and that response is obfuscated JS. Nasty.

For those mfs who say that you don’t need anything but JS for your backend: I once refactored a bloom filter and made it in Rust - it was ~30 times faster than in JS

Good luck reading a manual to cars and driving and then ending up in the city center at 5pm for the first time
My approach is quite different. Reading documentation is the best way to master a programming language. The documentation is a manual, you can’t go wrong when applied right. Building projects often come with a shallow understanding or try and error. You’ll be fulfilled but often can’t explain why certain work the way they do. Engineering back in the days was about longevity. So they valued the understanding behind things rather than their outcomes.
