Just saw the new Live Aid musical Just For One Day directed by @LukeJ_Sheppard who also directed the superb Little Big Things. Bob Geldof & Roger Taylor from Queen also there last night, I loved the show will be a smash hit. Great band onstage too.
So the #Beatles historic final single is being previewed today at 2.00pm GMT ahead of release tomorrow. However the sleeve is rather less than you'd expect so how about this version using the brilliant artwork of Ingrid Black in Canada as used for my book. ItsAllTooMuch.net
Fantastic farewell show by Elton John at the 02 Arena last night, just perfect. Great to see @benchampniss and to meet @Georgie24201664 next to me (there's a coincidence Ben!)

Note to Mark Savage @mrdiscopop@BBC: You may not realise that "Feeling Good" is not a Nina Simone song but was written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse way back in 1964...
Happening tonight at Primrose Hill Community Centre from 7pm - 8.45pm, I'll be talking about my adventures with the Beatles as a teenager in the '60s and beyond. Plus live music by the wonderful Susan Black, tickets available at £5 to include a glass of wine or soft drink.
Tonight's show at Pentameters will be dedicated to the memory of our good pal and occasional bandmate Spike Jefferson whom we sadly lost yesterday. A great musician and consummate wit who I'm sure would have loved to be there later. Doors 7pm, starts 8pm, £10 cash on the door.
Happening at Pentameters Theatre in Hampstead tomorrow evening, Beatle talk and chat with Leslie Cavendish plus music from a couple of Trembling Wilburys..
