Some lovely families, who collected their trees from us last week, have sent in some photos of their amazing, finished trees! It is brilliant to see how they look with lights and decorations. If this has given you tree envy, make sure to buy one from our PTA next year!

We are delighted to have been recognised as an 'Equal Access School' by Barclays and England Football's 'Girls' Football School Partnerships.' Thanks to the huge number of girls who have attended football clubs and represented our school football teams over recent years!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our Children in Need fundraiser. It was lovely to see so many children wearing yellow and Pudsey ears to support this important cause.
Together, we raised an impressive £420 for Children in Need. Well done to everyone who contributed!

Our art focus for last term was self-portraiture (see some of the amazing work produced by Year 1 and Year 4), and it looked so much fun the teachers decided to have a go!

We are grateful to families who came to school at the weekend to help with a tidy-up of our wonderful grounds. We weeded borders and edges, trimmed shrubs and emptied the greenhouse ready for refurbishment, plus many other jobs!

We have had a pretty special first week back! Everyone has settled well into their new classes, and the mix of children and teachers seems to be working effectively. Most importantly, the atmosphere in classes and on the playground is happy and positive. Welcome back!

To mark the end of this unusual year we were still able to hold a Leavers’ ceremony (outside) this afternoon. An emotional event - trophies and yearbooks handed out; kind words and best wishes dispensed to one and all.

The Year Six boys’ football club today had a visit from Danny Loader (FC Porto and ex-Reading FC). Danny watched their match, chatted to the teams and presented player of the season awards to Will and James.
