Lou Holtz was a football coach that displayed all the qualities that any coach should try to emulate. I along with so many others were inspired by his coaching career. All of us will miss him.

We coached the Pro Bowl when Simon had 16 sacks and Pro Bowl LB’s and DL were upset at me because I said Simon deserved to be there instead of some of them!
How Fletcher never made a single Pro Bowl, and was never selected as an All-Pro, particularly in 1992, when he had 16 sacks and five forced fumbles, is astounding. I bet @sonofbum agrees!

What people and some teams don’t realize about the Super Bowl is the mental part that really makes a big difference. The game and each play seems so much more important than any other game. Therefore limiting how the bad plays affect you is a priority. You really do have to go to the next play and don’t get absorbed by a mistake or poor play. Teams that can do that win.
