Cursor is just the latest arrival: >OpenAI signed 88,500 sq ft in King's Cross > Anthropic took 158,000 sq ft (room for 800 people) >Microsoft leased 100,000 sq ft in Soho >ElevenLabs is doubling UK staff to 200 >Jeff Bezos's new AI lab is negotiating London space AI firms leased 40,000 sq ft of London offices per month in 2025. In April 2026 alone, 450,000 sq ft. A 10x jump. A decade ago AI was 4% of London tech leasing, now it's 34%.

It seems a bit odd to see Bernie Sanders acknowledge a foundation of global public goods "A.I. is built on our collective intelligence: our books, songs...and ideas spanning generations" and then pivoting to the solution that AI should be owned by the people of a single country.
