What a fantastic day we’ve had at Southfields yesterday, celebrating the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi! The school was filled with colour, joy and a real sense of community as we learned about the importance of this special occasion.

Pupils took part in a range of activities, from exploring the history and meaning of Vaisakhi to enjoying music and dancing.
We were also honoured to welcome some very special guests, including Aman Hayer, International Music Artist and Director, alongside the BVS charity.

Their presence made the day even more memorable and inspiring for our pupils. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and respect as everyone came together to celebrate and appreciate Sikh culture.
