in all seriousness though there's nothing wrong with rpf so dont beat yourself up over it for enjoying it. the final word being is 'fiction' for a reason.
yes its using the likeness of real people but its still fake and at the end of the day not rooted in reality. it's still the same fanfic mentality of using these guys as our little dress up barbie dolls to put them into situations; it's harmless fun.
any time you hear about the 'bad' side of rpf its always the tinhatters or the people who try and go out of their way to make the ship a reality by bringing it to light and where it has no business being. honestly too a lot of the troublemakers arent even legit rpf'ers so much as pot stirrers that are just trying to be a-holes. so just stay in your lane, discuss it with like minded folks and have fun and you'll be fine. <3
