I am beyond proud that one of my Undergraduate Research Experience (URE) students is getting his research on computer vision published in the Journal of Advanced Technological Education - a peer-reviewed technical journal produced by the ATE community. It will be in print soon!

Bing’s #ChatGPT alternative is expected to be faster than GPT-3.5. It is known as the Prometheus model, and it brings current news to its chat for up-to-date results that are still safe for Bing’s large user base (@DigitalTrends).

I have early access to @bing's AI-powered “answer engine” & it worked well on a simple vanity search. I was glad to see a library shout out in one of the answers, but it would have been better if it sensed where I was to provide location information for local libraries. #CILDC

I received a Beta invitation for @LumaLabsAI, which is using Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) to train a neural network to reconstruct scenes, and it is impressive even though I only scanned 67% of this prosthetic arm.

A little over a week ago, @LouisMarkoya and I did a keynote at the #InternetLibrarian conference in Monterey, California.
Today, I see art that he has created for the Zac Brown Band with thousands of likes and perhaps millions of views. Great work, Louis!
