Today, Latvia commemorates the 85th anniversary of the mass deportation conducted by Stalin’s regime. Families were deported to Siberia, imprisoned, or killed by NKVD. We will never forget victims of the Communist genocide.

On the Day of Mourning and Hope we remember tens of thousands of Lithuanians who were deported from their homes & endured immense suffering. Their courage, resilience & faith in a free Lithuania continue to inspire us. We honour their memory and reaffirm our pledge to freedom.

June 14th is the Day of Mourning and Hope in Lithuania 🇱🇹. On this day, June 14, 1941, the Soviet Union ☭ began mass deportations of Lithuanians to Siberia, when ~17,500 people were deported from Lithuania in one week, including ~5,000 children under the age of sixteen.

Our warriors have achieved good results in applying long-range sanctions against important facilities on the territory of Russia and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. More than 700 kilometers from our state border, in Russia’s Yaroslavl region, SSU warriors struck an oil facility that was important for the reserves of the aggressor state. Warriors of our army reached their targets in Russia’s Tula region – specifically, the Azot plant, whose operations are critical to explosives production capabilities. Air traffic restrictions were imposed at six Russian airports, and overall, since yesterday evening, 28 regions of Russia have been under air raid alerts. There were also hits on the occupier’s military logistics in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Ukraine is carrying out its plan of long-range sanctions against Russia and the assigned tasks regarding mid-range strikes in response to Russia’s refusal to end this war. We have offered the Russian leadership every possible format for negotiations – and the only response was continued aggression and attempts to expand it. It stands to reason that the war is coming back to where it came from. Ukraine needs peace. Glory to Ukraine!

In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel. This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide. For the first time, the UN placed the Russian army on blacklist for conflict-related sexual violence. The UN's annual report on sexual violence in conflict has documented hundreds of confirmed cases of violence against prisoners of war and civilians. The report covers the period from January to December 2025. A total of 77 government and non-government organizations from 12 countries were added to the blacklist. ▪️The UN managed to verify 310 cases of conflict-related sexual violence within the territory of the Russia and in the occupied Ukrainian territories. ▪️The violations included rape, gang rape, genital mutilation, and electroshock forced administered to the genitals. ▪️As a result of the cases of sexual violence committed by the Russian armed forces and security forces mentioned in the report, 280 men, 26 women, and four girls were affected. "Of these, 52 cases were committed during 2025, mostly against male prisoners of war and civilian detainees. The remaining cases, although verified and documented in 2025, occurred between February 2022 and December 2024," said Pramila Patten, the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, who presented the report. Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzya, stated that the UN report on sexual violence is aimed at discrediting Russia. Finally, Russia is being recognized for what it is.

They have inherited envy, hatred, and a lust for power for generations. Just learn the history, both old and recent. End of story. It’s not quantum mechanics and entanglement with a Schrödinger’s cat in it. It’s actually pretty fucking simple.

Europe is strongest when Europeans act together, not separately. This is what we are achieving in all our formats. On Sunday, we had the Ukraine–E3 format. Today, it is Ukraine–NB8. And we stay in regular contact with the United States. We are preparing together for the upcoming EU and NATO summits, as well as the G7 summit meetings. All of this can bring real results.
