Got some friends and family together yesterday to turn under 40 acres of stalks for a friend. Some rare MM iron in action! @MachineryPete@MovingIronLLC
As supply chain shortages across many industries make it difficult to find products, CapstanAG has the full catalogue of parts and systems in stock with short lead times. Give your local Territory Sales Manager a call, or check out our website for more information!
Repurposed and modified an old Hagie detasseler trailer to haul Grandpa's old combine. Took it on its first 150 mile cruise this afternoon! Worked slick!
Cutting wheat yesterday with grandpas old IH SPVC-125 he bought new. Few little issues, but ran beautifully! The sample from this 70 year old combine rivals newer machines! Its like a Clipper fanning mill on wheels! My dad at the wheel, hadn't run it since he was 10yo!
Kids have been dying to try out their hand me down sleds from @iron_salesman. Finally got enough snow! Didn't quite get to high 6th gear, but they thought we were really moving!
Could have caught the beans with anything else around here, but the old '63 IH C1500 seemed to fit the bill just right! Bought the old truck ten years ago from the original owner in Champaign, IL. Bought new at @Birkeys#sixcylinders@maxarmstrong@MachineryPete
Out with the old, in with the new. NOS feeder chain going in the '51 SPVC-125. Thanks to @stollerIH for helping me dig up these old parts to help keep grandpas combine up and running!
Extensive research today across WCIL, SEIA, SCIA has shown that Casey's has apparently upgraded TP from 80 grit to 220 grit and got away from the little flaps over the rolls that rattle like hungry feeder pigs rattle the doors on a Pannier feeder!! It's a good day
I don’t care what anybody says, old iron is always cool. Just traded in this sweet 1974 John Deere 7520. These usually sell fast which is kind of bittersweet because then I don’t get to look at it everyday.
Thanks for the opportunity all! I just noticed the video caught my dad running the IH 82. Someone made the error of telling him to jump on and run it, he spent more time tweaking it than he did running it!
Update on our family IH SPVC-125 that I bought back this spring. After a couple weeks of work, we cut wheat with some friends! Ran perfect with no issues! Thanks to @JoshSchick3 @Hightowerfarms for the opportunity! @MachineryPete@maxarmstrong@iron_salesman
Another family member came back home! My Grandpa's SPVC-125 combine he and his brother bought new in '51. Ended up in Jon Kinzenbaws collection and he agreed it should go back to the family! Very grateful to him for the opportunity! A little work and hope to use it this year!
