With no game for our 4th team this week, @micklehurstcc 3s hosted us for 2 T20s. The results not important, the fact that dad and lad Lee and Connor opened the batting and bowling together in the first game, Grandad and Grandson Mulkeen Snr and Joe Mulkeen opened and retired....

Our 4s are looking for an *Away* friendly next Sunday (10th August) A mix of youth, half decent cricketers and absolute novices, around half decent 3s level overall, but they won't half prop up your bar sales. Please DM if you can host us

Our 1s visited our title rivals and top of the league today @FriendsUnitedCC and put in an incredible performance, Dan Jnr and Afraid both hitting 30s to take us to 187 on a tough wicket before Masroor 3 for and Saqib 7/8 blew them away for 24

Another win for the 1s keeps us firmly in the fight for the title. Batting first we posted 232ao thanks largely to Arslan 90 And then after some stern defence we finally bowled out Mottram for 150, Masroor the pick of the bowlers once again.

Our 2s had a bad day at the office posting 90, with Josh Shaw the pick on 30, @dcc1870 chased it down with 7 wickets in hand to prove they're much better when @trev1991 doesn't bother. Young Connor king taking 2 wickets to keep up and awesome run of form.

Before the rain put paid to the 4th team game at @micklehurstcc our boys had put up a phenomenal effort scoring 276/5 in their 40 overs with Joe Mulkeen, Connor King, Jimmy Shaw and Ryan Lees all retiring with 50s!! Superb effort

Weekly round up. The 1s kept up their unbeaten record with a win over Droylesden Arslan 46, Dan Jr 43 and Qamar ensured we posted a tough total on an up and down wicket at ours before Joe 2 for and Basit 4 for ensured we got the win

In the 2s it was all about one man, 12 yo Connor king, 7 for 29 with an amazing spell of spin was followed by 19 not out as we feel agonisingly 11 runs short. But the result was irrelevant with such a talent shining thru!

The 3s and 4s played out a "friendly" with the 3s batting first and posting 180, a grt spell from 16yo Mason saw to the top order of the 4s in reply with an excllnt 4 for, before Faizan and Dan Jr had the 3s panicking, A lucky wicket with 20 to win ensured the 3s kept their pride

Our 1s got off to a good start against Motttam with an comfortable win. 50 from Immy, with 20/30s from Dan Jnr, Mo Irfan, Waleed, Arslan and a last wicket stand of nearly 40 have us a good platform of 209 Early wickets meant a comfortable win and some over in for all bowlers

Our 4s fared better in their friendly with @A_LadysmithCC Connor and Joe opened with 20s each, before Bailey grabbed his first 30, 30* from Jnr gave us 189 to defend Before Faizan on debut starred with 5/24 as we bowled them out for 128 Ryan Lees getting a 2 for as well
