I used to avoid twitter when the Tour de France was on so as not to spoil the highlights. Now actively trying to find out what happened today and there’s nothing. Twitter is totally broken for me.

I guess these trees were blown down in November 2021. Interesting how stuff is now happily growing in the newly uncovered ground.

The idea for the this tweet — which I freely admit is a daft tweet — came to me while I was walking through our local LTN with my wife. The roads were so quiet; such a lovely difference to previously. 🧵
"All right, but apart from safer streets, cleaner air, quieter roads, less congestion and birdsong, what have LTNs ever done for us?" northeastbylines.co.uk/the-b…

Instructions with the new rim say: As the rim wears, a void will appear in the braking surface. At this stage the rim should be replaced. Obviously I read this after I’d replaced the rim.

Possibly the first time I've been in here since graduating. The New Century Ragtime Orchestra in the king's hall.

If the sound of the rain stops it probably means it's turned to snow. #Scotland #stormy #hopingforaweatherwindow

I seem to have chosen storm week for my holiday in Scotland. Had a good run out up Meall na Teanga and Sron a' Choire Ghairbh today. Nothing has changed up there in the last 28 years. That might be it though looking at the forecast!

Trying to plot a route in Strava with the @VeloViewer squares visible but it doesn't seem to be an option today. Anyone any ideas?
