Was watching
@solomon_labs from a distance, because I wrongly overestimated how much tension there really was between USDv-style yield and where GENIUS and the current CLARITY draft are pointing.
@sptucha from the Solomon team helped me understand one crucial point:
⇾ Yield as a service (YaaS) is fully programmable. Yield can be structured and distributed based on what the rules require and where regulation is heading. It can be designed and adapted to stay compliant over time.
Also, YaaS can be applied beyond USDv.
Another strong feature of YaaS mentioned by
@ranga at the Cohort 4 Demo Day is the ability to route the yield of the principal to another wallet.
⇾ Wallet A holds the productive asset (example: USDv)
⇾ yield automatically routes to Wallet B
Can see this feature used by treasuries, companies, and DAOs for convenience and security (cold storage can stay untouched).
They're building a solid stack to make the onchain dollar productive by default. Another gem from
@MetaDAOProject ecosystem.
