πNEW story from me:
Evangelist @Franklin_Graham pushed a domestic abuse victim to return to her husband.
He asked whether she was cheating on her husband.
βIt was a good question to ask,β Graham told me. βI wouldβve asked it again.β

I was also laid off from @washingtonpost in today's cuts. I am incredibly proud of the work my colleagues and I did, including our unflinching coverage of the Gaza war -- which still hasn't ended for Palestinians there. Please, readers, support the journalism this world needs.
Iβm stunned and heartbroken. Iβve been laid off, along with so many dear colleagues. Making my way to The Post nine years ago felt like a dream come true.

I was so lucky to work at the @washingtonpost for more than a decade, alongside tenacious, world-class journalists. I know how deeply committed the staff is to the mission of holding power to account, and how much grit and bravery they bring to unearthing stories that would otherwise go untold. The loss of so many journalists is gutting for all of us who care about The Post and its long history of independent, rigorous reporting.

The reporting of abuse at Christian mega-camp Kanakuk has been shocking, but today @NancyAFrench reported that there has been no disciplinary action against any supervisors of a former camp director who prosecutors say may have abused 100s of children.
A Louisiana @kanakuk victim came forward today - after 20 years of believing he was the only victim of super predator Pete Newman.
Newman's now in prison for the rest of his life for child abuse with an estimated 'hundreds' of victims.

A number of pastors have passed around a story that questions whether Jen Lyell spoke to the police or if her allegations were accurate. A Jeffersontown officer confirmed that she reported. And several SBC agencies corroborated the allegations.

Yes, the SCOTUS ruling in WV v EPA is a "blow to Biden's climate agenda," as many reporters (including me) have written.
But this kind of framing misses that it's really a blow to efforts to cut emissions in line w/ climate science.
Physics doesn't care about politics.
