I get the outrage over AI writing, but at the same time, how many amazing worlds died in someone's head because that person didn't posses the gift of words? AI can be a helpful tool for those people. It's still that person's story and idea. AI still needs a prompt and guidance. It's like using mods on video games. The only time it's not OK is if you ask AI to tell you a story with absolutely no input from yourself and then publish it. That is game breaking/cheating.
