ALT Over the last few months, I have been doing a lot of thinking and self-reflection about my identity. It has been a difficult process, but I have come to the conclusion that I am, in fact, a transgender woman. I am still working through what this means for me, but I feel confident in my conclusion, and I finally feel that I'm ready to publicly come out.
My chosen name is Willow, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm still easing into it, and it's okay if the adjustment isn't immediate, but I have decided it's how I want to present myself going forward.
Thank you for your continued friendship and support <3

look out for my new song, “goodbye to the snow”……….
sir. terrible news. we've received word that our two greatest adversaries were suddenly thrust into a dangerous situation which required them to set aside their personal differences and learn to work together.
I made something I guess? basically characterizations of different mental impulses in my head
the scholar is intelligent and analytical
the scientist is curious and experimental
the citizen is empathetic and emotional
the artist is creative and expressive
for instance, regarding the fact that I'm moving in a couple days:
- the scholar is nervous, knowing how much change is coming
- the scientist is excited for the new opportunities
- the citizen feels a bit lonely/isolated rn
- the artist feels frustrated, lacking an outlet
which feels a lot more insightful to me than just saying "mixed feelings"
like I feel a little apprehensive (scholar), but I also want to just get it done so I can move on (citizen/artist), and I also know that there's a lot of cool things coming my way (scientist)
couple notes:
- this isn't meant as a plural sort of thing, more like an expansion on the idea of left-brain vs right-brain
- I made these guys kinda abstract and incomplete on purpose, since that's kinda how they occupy my mind: as innate instincts as opposed to distinct voices
also fun fact: the names were taken from the honors program at my college, which used these four categories as its foundation
so I had an "artist" seminar about stanley kubrick, and a "scholar" seminar about empires, etc
(though, this is a much different interpretation)
