@dfinity has launched email-based recovery for Internet Identity, removing the need for users to manage seed phrases for account recovery.
If all authentication devices are lost, access can now be restored through a verified email process 📧
The recovery flow is handled natively on-chain by $ICP infrastructure, combining strong security with a much simpler user experience.
This is the kind of UX improvement needed to bring millions of non-technical users into Web3 👀
