Diabetic painful neuropathy (DPN) is the most common form of neuropathic pain which is accompanied by shooting pain and sensory deficits.
In our new preprint, we found a unique pathology in human dorsal root ganglia (DRGs) from organ donors with DPN.

We are pleased to announce that we have received Phase 2 funding on our U44 @NINDSfunding to develop MNK inhibitors for neuropathic pain. We will now begin IND-enabling studies. We are excited to continue our journey to improve the treatment of neuropathic pain!
