Saddling up 🚵 Huge congratulations to the team of referees that made the 100Km cycle from Virgin Media Park to Thomond Park on the 16th of May in aid of Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland 👏 We were delighted to welcome them to Thomond Park at the end of their cycle just in time for kick off in our crucial URC clash with the Lions 🏟️ #MunsterStartsHere | #SUAF 🔴

Here’s a radical idea: revert to the tournament format fans adored. Maybe, *maybe*, it might just work.

I am the reporter here — and imho the question should be asked more often. More than 100 children were reported killed at Minab.

Reporter: We’re almost 10 weeks since a missile hit a school in Iran. Who fired that missile? Trump: That’s under study. We’ll give you a report when we have it.

Except they didn’t - the farmers handed over the tractor keys to the Guards, who drove them away. There was no need to use the Army’s truck. 👍
The Irish army has started towing tractors away to the scrapyard. Where will the humiliation end for the farmers? Fuel protests Whitegate Cork Ireland

✍🏻Tips for would-be protestors of the Future: Don’t let agents of chaos turn up and take over your protest Keep to the core issue. Don’t shoehorn in other grievances. Don’t keep the public hostage to your protest and turn them against you Keep it civil, dignified & respectful

Since a meeting has been agreed, shouldn’t the multiple blockades immediately end (for the moment at least). Getting a govt meeting was the states aim.
New - Fuel protest negotiators will meet at Govt Buildings at 14:30 tomorrow. Protest to wind down overnight - but won’t end completely @rtenews

A managemet meeting of the HSE Mid West this morning heard it is taking some staff up to six hours to make it to and from work as a result of fuel protests. The meeting heard journeys are taking four and six hours, rather than the “usual 30 minutes”. jrnl.ie/7007558

Are the traffic blockades just going to rollover every day? Normally when a group of workera go on strike where it is hugely disruptive to the public, the action is planned for specific days.
Traffic disruption is expected to continue as protests over rising fuel costs caused by war in Iran enter their third day rte.ie/news/ireland/2026/040…

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?
An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.
