My subnet gets the price of anything via coingecko using precompiles, use newStatefulPrecompileFunction() to 'doWhateverYouWantFunction()' & update config.go, 👍🏻👍🏻 @_patrickogrady everything was super simple except learning Go, key file in my forked repo:github.com/lapat/subnet-evm/…

Getting Subnet-EVM Contract-Examples -github.com/ava-labs/subnet-e… to work was pretty simple thanks to @AaronBuchwald
and @_patrickogrady👍🏻 Key for me was I had to update genesis.json in scripts/run.sh to include contractDeployerAllowListConfig and contractNativeMinterConfig.

My takeaway from the experience is our c-chain investment dApp @prosperodefi would obviously benefit from precompiles but being on our own subnet we'd be sort of isolated: we would lose access to @pangolindex which we depend on for our trades, still @avalancheavax is sooo cool😁.

One note, hitting a public price http api and returning a value from a stateful precompile might not work when deployed to mainnet cuz it could Introduce non-determinism but how about a go-lang Minecraft server? A 10,000 line machine learning algo? Why not?

Been having fun playing with a deployed version of @pangolindex on my local Avalanche Testnet. Pangolin is a @Uniswap clone built on @avalancheavax. I deployed via @EthereumRemix, added liquidity and swapped with @louislapat Coin. Can't believe it worked!👍
