GOOD EVENING ALL!🤠 UPDATE ON "LOGISTICS" First and foremost, thank you for the insane support once again! We’re truly mind blown every season by the incredible response, with 32/32 signups filled in record time we definitely hear you! (and the most teams we have set from the signup announcement!) After much discussion and careful consideration, we’ve decided not to expand beyond 32 teams for Season 6. While we deeply appreciate the overwhelming interest and would love to accommodate everyone but we ultimately felt there just wasn’t enough time to ensure a seamless transition. Delivering a polished and enjoyable experience remains our top priority, and rushing to implement changes could have jeopardized that. As a result, we’ll be sticking with the Swiss system that OSS has successfully run in previous seasons. However, moving forward to Season 7 and beyond, we’re committed to implementing a format that caters to more teams while also improving scalability and increasing the prize pool with support from outside sources. This will likely mean moving away from the Swiss system after Season 6 to allow for a larger, more flexible tournament structure. We’re also excited to share a sneak peek update about our HLTV submission! We have some promising feedback, and it looks likely that the Season 6 Grand Finals will atleast make it to HLTV with the other games still up for negotiation! We’re still waiting on official confirmation, which should arrive closer to December 27, just before the playoffs. Regardless, this is a massive step forward for OSS we understand we are small but thanks to you guys we are being heard and every season we take one step forward and we will continue to do that together!
