"Listen to your body" is terrible advice for ADHD people. My body wants dopamine. My body is a toddler screaming for candy. If I listened to my body I would eat nothing but sugar, quit my job via text, and sleep for three years. I cannot listen to my body. My body is not to be trusted.

My wife’s request for a "together" photo with a friend abroad turned into my latest project. 🛠️ Upload pics of your people (up to 8 for now!), describe the vibe, and let AI bridge the gap. Live now: pixailer.com

On Wednesday, I held my first workshop. My client, marketing kommunikation thom UG, wanted to understand how to build a truly scalable WordPress site. Separating data from design. Thinking in terms of structures rather than layouts. The feedback was clear: “This is totally awesome, gives us lots of options, and saves time in the long run.” Seeing that “click” happen in people’s minds is really awesome, and one thing is certain for me: I want to do this more often! If you’re an agency looking to learn how to build scalable WordPress projects and spend less time on data maintenance and redos, get in touch!

Even though i know better, i'm just gonna start sharing links directly in tweets :o I've recently started blogging again on my website. I'll talk about stuff directly from projects and also just generall WordPress and web stuff. oh and it's in german. First post is about a nasty API error when using WPForms' address field and sending data to SalesForce. WPForms fills both Country and CountryCode with the same value and SalesForce responds with a FIELD_INTEGRITY_EXCEPTION. I fixed this by digging through the wpforms salesforce integration code and finding an undocumented filter. Details here: staudt.dev/integration/wpfor…

WordPress is dead. Starting today, I'll only work with JavaServer Faces and/or Macromedia Flash!

JetBrains had a real fire alarm in the office. AI assistant: “No need to leave 🙂” We’re really putting autocomplete in charge of survival decisions.

Damn this is accurate "living in a timeline where 'five minutes ago' and 'last April' feel exactly the same"
ADHD time blindness is such a specific social hazard. My friends are holding a digital candlelight vigil for our friendship because I haven’t replied in 6 months. Meanwhile, I just saw a funny meme and sent it with "omg look," genuinely convinced that our last conversation was yesterday. I’m not ghosting you I’m just living in a timeline where "five minutes ago" and "last April" feel exactly the same.
