This live map of hospital and ICU capacity in Germany is amazing. In the US we are asking each hospital to send a daily email update. If we want to be better prepared for the next public health threat we’ll need to modernize. coronavis.dbvis.de/en/

Facebook just got a patent approved that allows users to compare their financial transactions to financial transactions of a group - the example compares users to others having a similar age location and interests by financial spend.

It's applaudable the Twitter revealed their bug. But it also shows the trust problem: consumers cannot validate if web apps really implement sound cryptographic practices or leave backdoors open. Time for the Blockchain approach! x.com/jack/status/9921434633…
We recently discovered a bug where account passwords were being written to an internal log before completing a masking/hashing process. We’ve fixed, see no indication of breach or misuse, and believe it’s important for us to be open about this internal defect. x.com/twittersupport/status/…
